Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What are you doing to minimize the risk of infections by COVID-19 virus?

Our number one priority is to protect our staff.

To mitigate the risk of potential internal cross contamination for our operational staff, we have put in place following procedures:

  • All non-production essential persons have been advised to work from home whenever possible.

  • Within our plants, we have enforced strict rules, introducing some corporate behavioural measures and supplying COVID 19 specific PPE to employees (masks, alcoholic solution for hand sanitation, alcoholic solution for surface sanitation, gloves).

  • The external cleaning company was requested to proceed with a deeper sanitation, using alcoholic solutions or specific sanitizing products, for door handles, tables, desks and various surfaces.

  • Alcoholic solution has been provided to all employees so as to enforce double sanitation of employee’s workstation.

  • All employees have been asked to minimize contacts within the company: All internal reunions and meetings have been cancelled and are organised via smart tools (Microsoft teams).

  • We are now accepting no visitors unless operational necessity requires itVisits of external parties by Adhex employees have also been cancelled.

As a result of these measures, availability of our staff by phone might be limited, therefore we kindly ask you to use e-mail for correspondence whenever possible.

  • Are you monitoring outgoing and incoming truck drivers?

With the aim of limiting contacts between staff in charge of loading and unloading the goods and the drivers, the latter are requested to use alcoholic solutions and wear protective equipment such as a mask.

In all production sites, specific extraordinary procedures have been implemented in order to regulate the interactions between Adhex staff and the drivers.

  • Is the supply of raw materials at risk?

In a few cases, Adhex suppliers mainly focusing on the automotive market have suspended their operations. However, for the majority of our suppliers, production and supply are still running. It should be noted that Adhex is now facing increasing delays in deliveries, due to i.a. high absentee rates on suppliers’ siteslower availability of shipper/forwarder, border crossing restrictions

In this challenging environment, our Supply Chain management is monitoring the situation with our suppliers on a daily basis, in order to prevent potential problems.

  • Will you stay open and maintain your production? Are the production sites fully operational?

Since our automotive customers have temporarily closed their plants, productions connected to these automotive customers have been temporarily discontinuedHowever, as Adhex is involved in the healthcare and industrial sectors as well, Adhex Technologies French site (Dijon-Chenôve) remains open, and production is running at 70% capacity, which is sufficient to cover the current orders and foreseeable demand. It is kindly requested from our customers that they express their volume forecast in a very candid way, to help organisation of production at Adhex. Production sites in Spain and Slovakia, serving mostly the automotive market, are running at very low capacity. Temporary closure is being considered in these sites. In Brazilas local automotive customers are announcing plant closure in the coming days, it is likely that production will be reduced accordingly.

  • Will the deliveries continue?

Inquiries and orders will continue to be processed as usual. Deliveries continue, however, considering the current border restrictions that are being put in place and the fact that the transport companies may be affected by the virus because of lower availability of staff, there could be longer delivery times in the future.

  • Will the price  of your production  be affected  by the current situation ?

Obviously, the current situation is resulting in lower efficiency. We also witness increases in raw material prices. Should prices need to be modified, customers would be advised by the Adhex salesperson in charge.

We will regularly update this site to inform you about current situation
