Adhex has pioneered the eco-design of adhesives without VOCs (*Volatile Organic Compounds) and their share has increased from 29% to 64% since 2012.
To keep up with demand for sustainable solutions, we added a high-performance coating machine to our arsenal in 2020 that is used exclusively to make VOC-free adhesives. This exciting step forward is accompanied by a continuous effort to improve the energy efficiency of our facilities.Some examples of how we do so are by fine-tuning machine aeraulics; recovering energy lost in production to heat our buildings; installing free cooling air conditioners and using smart
technology to monitor our energy efficiency.We’re also always looking for ways to upcycle our waste. For example, our foam waste is donated to a plastics manufacturer where it is reground to make pipes.
