XL Pad_Vehicle acoustic soundproofing fiber

Adhex’s research and development has developed the XL Pad Acoustic Fiber range, for use in dry and wet areas of vehicles (outside the engine compartment). This product intended for sound absorption, but which also contributes to thermal insulation, is made of 100% polypropylene, 20% of which is recycled and recyclable materials. It can be found both behind the mudguard and behind the wheel arch, under the interior door pillar and custod, under trim, in the air conditioning system or in the awning. The XL Pad Acoustic Fiber has excellent mechanical resistance, which allows it to be fixed without the risk of tearing the absorbent. It can be closed all around its perimeter by means of a welding system. It will be put in place by adhesive (butyl bead, double-sided, adhesive pad…) or mechanically (welding, hook…). Our XL Pad product range complies with the European regulation on prohibited substances (directive 2000/53/CE) as well as the Reach regulation. It complies in all respects with the rules in force concerning the intensity and odorous nature. A “Self-extinguishing Adhex” product, it is fireproof and meets the standards in terms of combustibility. Finally, because of its composition, it is perfectly hydrophobic, which guarantees its resistance over time and the lack of any mould in use.
