Card attachment for Smart Cards

These double-sided differentiated transparent tapes respond to various issues related to the use of rigid card mailing systems, taking into account both industrial processes and end-users. The permanent adhesive side, applied to personalized mail, is very adherent to the paper. The temporary side is sticky enough to maintain the smart card throughout the life of the mail, while allowing easy removal, even after aging, without leaving glue residue or damaging the card. These adhesives have good resistance to moisture, water, heat, and temperature variations. Depending on your needs, they are delivered in the form of pellets or continuous tapes. The different formats available guarantee good dimensional stability and high positioning accuracy on the roll. Rigid and tear-resistant enough, the tapes are compatible with production lines, with an adapted and facilitated dispensing for high production rates, and can be customized to be included in your manufacturing processes. The position of the removable or permanent adhesive on the roll can, for example, be reversed according to your process. For a better machine control, the cut adhesive parts are marked with a print marking which is used to detect the pad. It is possible to make the acrylic adhesive mass luminescent, thanks to a UV fluorescent pigment, which has a double advantage: the device can detect and generate application operations, but also check that the pad has been glued to the paper before applying the card.
