L’horizon des évènements, Vincent Carlier

In 2016, the company welcomed the artist Vincent Carlier for the creation of the artwork "l'horizon des évènements". Vincent Carlier : "This is the name given to the limit of a black hole, after which light is completely absorbed by its gravitational force. After the event horizon, nothing can escape from the black hole, not even light. The black hole thus generates its invisibility; the impossible observation of what it is. The event horizon is therefore a story of a limit towards the invisible, towards the unknown. It is also in this zone that a distortion of space-time occurs, surpassing our understanding enough to activate our imagination."
