Thermal protection
In order to create an efficient thermal barrier between the engine compartment or the outside air on the one hand, and the passenger compartment on the other hand, Adhex has developed a wide range of thermoformed polyolefin foam parts contributing to the comfort of use of the vehicle.
Adhex thermal protection systems equip vehicles under the dashboard or glove box, around the battery…. These parts are made with thermoformed polyolefin foam whose shape (Catia) and composition we have designed to meet the requirements of vehicle manufacturers. Thermal absorbers, associated with our thermoformed carriers, enable us to significantly improve the thermal performance of cars, whatever the external temperature conditions. The whole part can be clipped or sticked by extruded cords, thanks to Adhex’s expertise in adhesive technologies. The design of the elements ensuring the thermal protection of the vehicles is carried out in close collaboration with the vehicle manufacturers’ technical departments. Adhex is at their side, from the design stage to the application on the production line. The key words are: design speed and reactivity, optimal quality and performance, for a controlled cost and weight.
