Interior door trim medallion
The door trim medallion is an aesthetic textile element of the car that requires a perfect mastery of adhesive techniques. Adhex is able to meet the quality and reliability expectations of car manufacturers.
The door medallion is a decorative item inside the door, made of fabric or imitation of leather. The aspect of the fabric must remain perfectly preserved. When it use, the medallion must resist repeated impacts caused by the closing of the door, it must not come unstuck, deteriorate or become deformed over time. This involves a perfect mastery of the design and technical application of this medallion, made of a foamed textile (smooth or structured) to the back of which is fixed an adhesive specially designed for this use: the Adhex technology guarantees an easy and durable fixing of the medallion on the smooth or slightly structured substrate, generally polypropylene. The Adhex parts, designed in collaboration with the car manufacturers’ technical services, are easy to apply by simple mechanical pressure. Our solution is economical and suitable for low or medium volume production.
