Adhesive tapes for ECG Electrodes and Neutral Electrodes

The electrode backings designed by Adhex (Foam, non-woven, or films) meet the requirements of electrocardiogam or electroencephalogram examinations: long tests (holter from 48 to 72 hours) or stress tests (about 30 minutes). In addition, our range is composed of supports that have been validated for neutral electrode application. The adhesion performances ensures an optimal holding of the electrode or or the plate on any type of skin and in all atmospheric conditions (heat, humidity) without adhesive residues on the patient’s body. Our adhesive have been formulated with a high skin tolerance, avoiding irritation, itching and redness. The balance of stripping load forces between the adhesive and the release liner prevents from tearing when our materials are passed through the electrode converting machine. In addition, the performance of Adhex solutions avoids problems related to curling (folds) that can cause machine downtime. Easy to convert, lengths allow productivity gains and the widths are adjustable according to the cutting tool and the dimensions of the final electrode. Finally, the initial liner can be reused on the final product. The entire range has undergone all biotoxicity tests (ISO-10993 standard).
